That so reminds me of the collaging task from the online Artist’s Way that you organised a few years ago. It was one of my favourite tasks – I’ve done several collages since, I think it is one of JC’s best tools. I’ve been thinking of starting doing Morning Pages again (THE best tool, of course); this time of year always makes me want to turn over a new leaf (some vestigial back – to- school feeling, I suppose).

This makes me reflect, too, at how visual you are. I, alas, don’t have that at all. Maybe we creative types have secondary artistic senses that are secondary because they just aren’t as strongly present as the first, or maybe because we’ve chosen them to be. But yours is clearly visual, while I guess mine is aural/musical. Maybe there’s another post there….hmmm….
Yes, I am envious of your musicality that’s for sure! I do think there are secondary senses, and it’s interesting how many artists – of all genres – also do something else – writing, singing, painting, photography, playing an instrument – not just to relax but to be able to see their own work in a different light. I look forward to your post.
